How we check
How Late Checkout checks the rooms
Every room count, hotel rule and hour on Late Checkout comes from a hotel or casino page or an official agency. Each one carries the date it was checked, October 7 or 8, 2026.

Where the facts come from
Room counts, hotel rules, parking and hours come from the casinos' and hotels' own pages. Bus routes and overnight service come from official transit pages, and the Casino Shuttle from the operator's own page. Online play and help services come from provincial pages and iGaming Ontario.
Imani Brooks writes and hosts the guide. She checks each hotel's rooms, rules and parking on the venues' own pages, then each casino's hours.
Straight lines only
Every distance on the site is a straight line between two map coordinates from OpenStreetMap. Roads, traffic and detours do not enter the figure. That is why the guide never gives drive times: a drive depends on routes and conditions the guide cannot check. Casino Ajax sits 5.1 km from Pickering Casino Resort, its nearest casino with a hotel. Elements Casino Mohawk is 40.0 km from Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto, measured the same way.
Left out on purpose
- The venues do not publish how many accessible parking spaces they have, so the guide shows no count.
- Toronto and Great Blue Heron do not publish their number of accessible rooms, so neither hotel gets a figure here.
- Room prices are not published by the venues, so only published charges appear, such as resort fees, pet fees and Toronto valet parking.
- Holiday hours are not published either, so readers should check them on each venue's own site.
Questions
Why are there no room prices on Late Checkout?
The venues do not publish room prices, so the guide leaves them out. The site is not a booking service and sells no rooms. Only published charges appear, such as resort fees, pet fees, Toronto valet parking and the Casino Shuttle fare.
How often are the facts checked?
Facts on the site were checked on October 7 and 8, 2026. The checks cover the venues' and hotels' own pages, the operator's update page and official transit and provincial pages.
Is Imani Brooks a real person?
Imani Brooks is an illustrated character, drawn for this site, not a photo of a real person. She writes and hosts the guide. Each hotel's rooms, rules and parking and each casino's hours are checked on the venues' own pages, with every check dated.
